I had liked going but I could not help last Saturday because of "force majeure". I want to send my congratulations from Nonentities to the partners of Independent Left and my congratulations for having filled the assembly room of the young center of my city (Sanse) at once politically for his X anniversary. ... I was already serving in the assembly of IU of Hortaleza (Madrid) and I can remember all the "damages" that we had in that time. An implosion of the organization motivated by many factors but in which to my judgment, the Democratic Party of the New one Left and Initiatory per Catalunya they had a lot to do. There were hard times in which there were accused in the assemblies the partners of PDNI of "submarines of the Spanish socialist party". I remember my resistance and incredulity before such accusations, and memory like those accusations they became true finally when the PDNI went out of IU doing an enormous political damage and mediático. ICV "got divorced" of IU, there was born Alternative Esquerra Unida i (EUiA) as modality of IU in Catalonia. Also there lost part of the organization in Gallicia, Castile The Spot, Extremadura, Andalusia. . In my opinion, all that obeyed a strategy of the Spanish socialist party directed to deactivate a political force that in that moment, was constituting a small but real threat to the hegemony of the Spanish socialist party in the Spanish electoral left. We were worrying and it was necessary to stop us. Since it always happens in this type of self-destructive dynamics, the political damages were very superior to the mere inventory of lost militants: big political damages and mediáticos for a very small number of militants who left.
One of the numerous "local fronts" of that "war" was San Sebastian of the Kings, where the mayor of that time of IU Angel Requena supported the PDNI and later it created the party 'Independent Left' leaving of IU. I was not in San Sebastian of the Kings then, neither I have any concrete memory of that one, but I am sure that in that moment I should have thought that "Angel Requena and the rest of partners of IU who left were something similar to a few traitors".
We are in 2009...
... and the political forces to the left of the Spanish socialist party we are in the hours very low in all the ambiences. The question has now another approach, and probably in the past things were done badly from one and another side. Today IU collaborates again with ICV in Catalonia, in Spain and in Europe (not without any friction). Today some partners ex-PDNI are again in IU. Today IU is in a process of Refoundation that wants to re-constitute a political force to my essential judgment in Spain. To my today me there is not doubt that the partners of Left Independent from Sanse are indispensable for this city and that Izquierda Unida of Sanse has to work very closely, more that it could, with Independent Left. I to today cannot see to Independent Left any more than like what they are: my partners with whom I would like going of the hand to achieve that the left governs again in my city in 2011. The rest remains me. A hug and forward with the work partners of Independent Left.

Since it is easy to see, the anticommunism of the group of Czech senators shares the same irrational base that there was supporting the group that commanded McCarthy, with an aggravating element: that at least in case of the senator for Wisconsin, it is possible to adduce that there were the times of the Cold War and that this one was generating a propitious climate for the blunting of the intelligence, the sprout of the bad passions and the violations of the right and the democratic freedoms. Me Vic's salami has choked

What it is spending in Vic these days is serious. The Town hall has decided not to register the immigrant persons that they do not have the "roles" in rule.
A measurement shameful that fills with reproach the political groups that have supported it: CiU, PSC and ERC. Tremendous: and do PSC and ERC have the shamelessness yet of thinking of lefts?
To prevent the persons' registration, in addition to illegal, is an offense on the human rights. As result of it the local public opinion assumes the theses extreme right-wingers finally to be supported also by the forces supposedly democratic - catholic like CiU and supposedly of lefts as PSC and ERC. It is very illustrative to see what some and others were defending in 2003 in Vic and what they defend today... This is shameful, a country disgust.

Reasons to ask for the political and penal prosecution of the Minister and of the Advisers of Health of Spain for the management of the crisis of the flu A

The facts
The flu pandemic A (at first “porcine flu”) began in the spring 2009 in Mexico and at the end of April an alarm phase gave beginning with different attempts of containment of his diffusion. Without success, since in May there were already patients in the entire world, from the north hemisphere (the USA, Canada, Spain and the others) to the south hemisphere (Australia, New Zealand, Argentina and the others). In June it was already possible to determine the levity of the pandemic of flu A in the developed country like Australia, Canada and New Zealand so much with regard to mortality as morbidity (1,2). At the beginning of July the first projection of the mortality was published by flu A in Eurosurvillance (scientific magazine of the official European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control) for scientists of New Zealand in which one was concluding that the mortality was minor for the pandemic than for the seasonal flu (2).

At the end of July and the first of August, in full southern winter, all the countries of the south hemisphere were coinciding with information of morbidity and mortality of the pandemic of flu A much underneath of the seasonal flu of every year. Also, we know that the virus of the flu A can provoke for itself immune answers that last more than 50 years (8). For all this it seemed reasonable not to vaccinate against the flu A (8,9). We knew that the antiviral ones had scarce or void efficacy in the prevention and the treatment of the seasonal flu and that they have serious adverse effects (10-13). The World Organization of the Health (WHO) persisted in his message of alarm, enclosed up to end of the year 2009. But his credit was void, after the most serious error with regard to the avian flu, in the year 2005, where it went so far as to predict up to 150 million dead persons, against a whole of 262 deceased persons in the whole world (14).
This alarm bore the preparation of plans of answer ("risk) extraordinarily aggressive and stopped to all the countries with the sensation that there would come sooner or later the pandemic of flu as a pest (15). The pandemic came, but of a capital levity, and was answered him by the plans of 2005, updated with the same way incredible numbers. Nevertheless the European population (and Spaniard) understood perfectly the situation and pushed back the vaccination and the suggested behavior of high alarm. The reaction of the Minister and the Advisers of Health of Spain
The facts commented previously did not modify the plans of risk adopted in Spain at the beginning of the pandemic, in May, 2009 and until the end:
• sensitization campaigns were realized to the population,
• works were done in hospitals and health centers to change urgencies and UCI,
• there were modified forms of work and organization of the attention in the sanitary system,
• million dose were acquired of antiviral (and his use was promoted),
• there were bought million dose of vaccine against the flu A (and his administration was promoted),
• there were administered million dose of vaccine against the seasonal flu (which viruses were disappearing),
• respirators were bought,
• there were acquired masks, disposable suits and another material (that was distributed and whose use was promoted),
• type they gave norms to the companies in accordance with the plans avian flu
• the labor casualty of healthy pregnant women was promoted in schools and other places
• etc.
All this has redounded to an expense of hundreds of million euros, to a social situation of economic crisis, of unemployment of 20 % of the population and with a sanitary system that does not even cover the dental health. Worse, these political persons in charge support that they would do again what they have done. For all this I believe necessarily and promote to personal title the political and legal prosecution of the Minister and of the Advisers of Health of Spain for his probable responsibilities in public health and in the bad use of public wealths. Not even the mutation of the virus of the flu A or the presentation of more aggressive successive waves of the same one (improbable seen the history of the pandemics of flu from the Middle Age) (16) they would justify the plans and the actions tackled since all this would force to the establishment of other plans.

IUN-NEB: a resolution that saddens me and disappoints me

The last time that I spoke in my previous house on an Izquierda Unida federation I did it on IUN-NEB. In that occasion he was applauding the one that was considering a decision (that of integrase in Na-Bai) based on a few “simple, clear and sensible parameters”.
I today speak again about IUN-NEB, but this one time, unfortunately, to express my deep sadness and disappointment for a “resolution on Cuba” (that as it seems they have raised also to the Navarrese Parliament).
The Navarrese partners share the explanatory simplicity of those declarations on Na-Bai, but they have lost certainly the clarity and the good sense.
It saddens me because it seems really distressing to me that partners promote or vote in favor of a resolution on Cuba so generic that he might vote for it in favor up to Hope Aguirre. It does without the most minimal analysis … neither rigorously nor slightly rigorously: no analysis of no type, only one generic declaration that does impossibly to understand what extension it has or in what it materializes.
Concepts as the "freedom", “civil rights“, “the citizenship” or the "human rights" have to be contextualizados, because like notions especially abstract and malleable they can allude to things that are, finally, opposite.
The whole world can understand, for moving the example to our State, which when a leader speaks the Basque PP about the full achievement of the Human rights in Basque Country speaks of imprisoning the people for meeting in the LAB head office to organize itself politically; on the other hand when Ezker Batua to speak about the full achievement of the DDHH in Basque Country speaks exactly otherwise. Would it make a resolution Ezker Batua on the situation of the DDHH in Basque Country that was asumible for Basagoiti? Obviously not. Of course they would say, with the whole reason: "it is that when you and I speak about Human rights, master of the PP, we speak about different things, so I am going to be very concrete”.
He was saying at first that, to part of growing sad, also I am disappointed: as I read there are after the resolution the intelligent people who surprises me that it could not have done anything better. Personally, if he wanted posicionarme on the topic of a sane form, better it would have given form of resolution to the article of Hugo Martínez Abarca (entry that yes that expresses good ideas of simple, clear and sensible form, and that also can be assumed – I believe - for the majority of persons that we are part of this organization).
